Grand Rapids restaurant first in Midwest to serve up homegrown wireless technology

GRAND RAPIDS, MI -- Restaurateur Johnny Brann Jr is gaining such a reputation for his appetite for the latest high-tech features that he often gets calls to try new products from companies around the world.

But it's an inquiry close to home that he is particularly excited to share with customers.

His restaurant, Kitchen 67: An American Bistro, is the first in the Midwest to try out new wireless charging technology developed by Grand Rapids-based Gill Electronics.

"Customers are going crazy over them," Brann said. "It's different and better. We like to have things that no one else has."
